2013 Stadium Tour

Following a promise to a 12 year old Jack during an exciting time of a TV match to attend a game at each stadium that plays NRL in the season, young Jack greeted me the following morning with a spreadsheet of the remainder of the season and a time-table of scheduled matches to attend.

While the actual schedule changed slightly to accommodate work, family and Jack's own football commitments, we successfully attended NRL matches at 19 stadiums during the 2013 seaso, spanning across 4 months, 2 countries, 4 states and 8 cities.

All was well planned until Round 26, and following Jack's team unexpectedly loosing a semi-final required them to play the same day as we were scheduled to fly from Sydney to Townsville.
Some crafty planning saw Jack play his semi final at lunchtime, catch a flight from Newcastle, stop-over in Brisbane and arrive in Townsville an hour before kickoff.
